What does a partner pay?
Partners fund the points issued from eligible purchases. The platform calculates cost from point price and awarded points; partner-specific pricing can differ from the global default.
What happens if a partner balance is too low?
A reward can wait for partner funding or fail depending on the accounting path and status. The partner dashboard shows funding obligations and low-balance warnings.
Why does a partner need prepaid funding?
Prepaid funding ensures PrizeNest can honor points that a partner issues to customers. Available partner balance determines estimated point capacity.
How can someone contact support?
Use the Contact Support page and include relevant order or account context. Never send passwords, raw API secrets, or payment card numbers in support messages.
What is PrizeNest?
PrizeNest is a rewards platform where customers earn PrizeNest Points from participating businesses and redeem available points for marketplace products and shipping.
How does a custom website connect?
A custom website connects from its server by storing TEST or LIVE API credentials securely, signing requests with HMAC-SHA256, sending purchase/refund events, and monitoring Integration Logs.
What is TEST mode?
TEST mode lets partners send signed purchase and refund events without changing live customer point balances or live partner ledgers.
How are earning rules created?
Partners create rules in Reward Rules. A rule can award fixed points or points per dollar, with optional minimum purchase, maximum points, active dates, and integration scope.
How does a business join?
A business submits the partner application, waits for PrizeNest review, completes profile and setup, tests the integration, and goes live after the required checks pass.
How are API keys protected?
PrizeNest stores key hashes and encrypted secret verification material. Raw secrets are shown only once. Partners should store secrets server-side and rotate any credential that may be exposed.
